Nyle L200m Dehumidification Kiln

We operate a Nyle Systems L200m Dehumification kiln on site.  Our container can hold roughly 2,200 board feet at a time.  We air dry all of our live edge slabs and lumber to a moisture content (MC) of 20% and then they're kilned to a moisture content of around 8%, perfect for slabs that will eventually live in homes!

 

 Using dehumidification kilns takes longer, but the resulting lumber is of a higher quality and is more stable. Dehumidification kilns also use less energy, which translates into lower overhead costs – allowing us to pass that savings onto you, our customers. We are very proud of our homemade container kiln, if you ask about it, prepare to stay for a while!
